omnidirectional mimo antenna

Changing the path of RF signals is like an adapter for train tracks. Any device that works well in both directions is usually referred to as bidirectional. So two trains (RF signals) can come from tracks A and B at the same time, but only one connected to N can pass through. All switches are active devices.

  performance

When designing RF switches, two key performance parameters need to be considered. The first important performance parameter is loss. RF switches have two different types of losses. RF switches have two different types of losses. A RF signal from N to A (directly connected) will experience some loss. The path from N to A is a low loss path, and the loss experienced by the RF signal is called insertion loss. The insertion loss in the low loss path of the RF switch is 1dB or less. On the other hand, if the N-point signal reaches B (open circuit), it will not succeed, so the path from N to B is an open circuit and therefore a high loss path. You can think of it this way, open circuit also has insertion loss (just higher than closed circuit). Another important performance parameter is conversion speed, which can be used to measure the time required for a switch to transition from one position to another. Usually, the conversion speed should be as fast as possible.
