  1. Advantages of solid-state relay RF sensors

  (1) High life, high reliability :SSR has no mechanical parts, solid devices to complete the contact function, because there is no moving parts, so it can work in a high impact, vibration environment, due to the inherent characteristics of the components of the solid-state relay RF sensor, determine the solid-state relay RF sensor long life, high reliability.

  (2) High sensitivity, small control power, good electromagnetic compatibility: solid and solid state relay RF sensors have a wide input voltage range, low drive power, and can be compatible with most logic integrated circuits without adding buffers or drivers.

  (3) Fast conversion: solid-state relay RF sensor Because of the use of solid devices, so solid-state relay RF sensor, composition, advantages switching speed can be from a few milliseconds to a few microseconds.

  (4) Small electromagnetic interference: the solid-state relay RF sensor has no input "coil", no contact ignition arc and rebound, thus reducing electromagnetic interference. Most AC output solid-state relay RF sensors are a zero-voltage switch that turns on at zero voltage and turns off at zero current, reducing the sudden interruption of the current waveform and thus reducing the switching transient effect.

2, the shortcomings of solid-state relay RF sensors

  (1) The tube pressure drop after conduction is large, thyristor or dual-phase controlled silicon solid-state relay RF sensor, composition, advantages of forward step-down up to 1~2V, high-power transistor saturation voltage drop between 1~2V, the general power field effect tube on resistance is also larger than the mechanical contact resistance.

  (2) Semiconductor devices can still have a leakage current of several microamps to several milliamps after being turned off, so ideal electrical isolation cannot be achieved.

  (3) Due to the large pressure drop of the tube, the power consumption and heat output after conduction are also large, and the volume of the high-power solid and solid-state relay RF sensor is much larger than the electromagnetic relay RF sensor with the same capacity, and the cost is also higher.

  (4) The temperature characteristics of electronic components and the anti-interference ability of electronic circuits solid-state relay RF sensors, composition, poor advantages, radiation resistance is also poor, if no effective measures are taken, the working reliability is low.

  (5) The solid-state relay RF sensor is more sensitive to overloading, and it must be overload protected with a fast fuse or RC blocking circuit. The load of the solid-state relay RF sensor is obviously related to the ambient temperature, and the load capacity will decrease rapidly as the temperature increases. Solving heat dissipation is the most important thing in the use of solid and solid state relay RF sensors!
