  (1) According to the size of the nominal resistance value of the conductive plastic potentiometer, the multimeter "R66" range is appropriately selected. The meter bar is connected with two fixed welding pieces of a conductive plastic potentiometer to detect the conductive plastic potentiometer, and the method shows whether the resistance is equal to the nominal value. If the multimeter pointer does not move, it indicates that the resistance body and its corresponding outlet are disconnected; If the resistance value measured is much larger than the nominal value, it indicates that the potentiometer is broken.

  (2) The meter bar is connected to the central sliding end of the conductive plastic potentiometer and the fixed end of any test, the conductive plastic potentiometer, the method of welding, slowly rotate the shaft handle, if the multimeter refers to the
needle moves smoothly, there is no pulsating and falling phenomenon, and the feel is moderate, the contact slip is flexible, indicating that the resistor of the potentiometer is good, and the sliding end contact is reliable.

  (3) For potentiometers with switches, use a multimeter "R×16f file detection. Turn the switch on and off, and the resistance value of the meter is zero and infinity, indicating that the switch is normal.
