  Magnetic reed switch also known as: reed tube relay RF sensor, reed relay RF sensor, reed switch, reed tube, reed switch, a magnetic control sensor.

  (1) Structure

  (2) Working principle

  As shown in Figure 2, there are many magnetic field lines from the N pole to the S pole around the magnet. The reed in the magnetic field is a magnetic conductive material, and the reed will be magnetized due to the action of the magnetic field, and the polarity is opposite. The reed switch uses this principle to generate heteropolar induction when the magnetic field is close to it. Make the contact close (ON), when the external buzzer is connected, then the buzzer occurs.

  When the magnet N is extremely close, the A sheet is magnetized to produce S and N, and the B sheet is magnetized to S and N, then the A sheet and the B sheet attract each other, the contact is connected, and the 5W bulb is lit.

  The magnetic reed tube is divided into normally open type, normally closed type, three-contact type, and three ways in selection.

  Magnetic reed switch is different from the general electromagnetic relay RF sensor, therefore, many of its characteristics are not the same, described as follows:

  1. Small size, light weight suitable for high-density assembly.

  2. Low consumption drive power (can be driven directly by IC).

  3. The exchange speed is about 1/10 of the operation time of the general relay RF sensor.

  4. Long service life, contact opening and closing almost no mechanical friction. Second, the contact is not easy to produce sparks.

  5. Not influenced by external environment. Because the contact part is sealed together with the inert gas, it is not subject to the sparks generated by the switch and the dust in the atmosphere, humidity... And so on.

  6. Magnetic reed relay RF sensors are generally used in low-power situations. If it is to be used at high power, the gas in the tube must be filled with high pressure gas before it can be used.
