  (a) Method for detecting sensors with switching potentiometers

  For the potentiometer sensor with a switch, in addition to detecting the nominal resistance value and contact condition of the potentiometer sensor according to the above method, it should also detect whether the switch is normal.

  First rotate the potentiometer sensor shaft handle to check whether the switch is flexible, and whether the wire-wound potentiometer sensor has a crisp "click" sound when it is switched on and disconnected. When measuring, the potentiometer sensor switch should be repeatedly switched on and off, and the reaction of each switch action should be observed. If the resistance value of the switch in the "on" position is not 0Ω, and the resistance value in the "off" method position is not infinite, it indicates that the switch of the potentiometer sensor is damaged.

  With a multimeter in R×1Ω gear, the two markers are connected to the external solder sheet by the two methods of the potentiometer sensor switch, and the shaft handle of the potentiometer sensor is rotated to make the switch detect and turn on. The resistance value indicated on the multimeter should change from infinity (∞) method to 0Ω. If the switch is turned off again, the multimeter pointer should return to ∞ from 0Ω.

  (A) nominal resistance value detection

  When measuring, choose between the two fixed pin welding pieces of the multimeter potentiometer sensor, first measure the total resistance value of the potentiometer sensor to detect whether it is the same as the nominal resistance value. If the measured resistance value is infinite or larger than the nominal resistance value, it means that the potentiometer sensor has been opened or the variable value is damaged.

  Then the two meters are connected to the center head of the potentiometer sensor and either end of the two fixed ends, slowly turn the potentiometer sensor handle, so that it rotates from one extreme position to the other extreme position, the normal potentiometer sensor, the resistance value indicated by the multimeter method should be continuously changed from the nominal resistance value (or 0Ω) to 0Ω (or nominal resistance value). Throughout the rotation process, the watch hand should change smoothly, without any beating phenomenon. Wire-wound potentiometer sensor If in the process of adjusting the resistance value, the detection of wire-wound potentiometer sensor, the method needle has a jumping phenomenon, it indicates that the potentiometer sensor has a fault of detection and poor contact.

  Use the appropriate range of the multimeter resistance gear to measure whether the resistance values of the two groups of potentiometer sensors on the dual potentiometer sensor (that is, the resistance values between A and C and the resistance values between A 'and C') are the same and consistent with the nominal resistance values. Then use A wire to separate the potentiometer sensor A, C 'and detection, wire wound potentiometer sensor, method potentiometer sensor A', C short, and then use a multimeter to measure the resistance value between the center head B, B ', in an ideal situation, no matter what position the potentiometer sensor pivots to, The resistance value between two points B and B 'should be equal to the resistance value between two points A, C or A', C '(that is, the multimeter pointer should always remain on the scale of A, C or A', C 'resistance value). If the multimeter pointer is deflected, it indicates that the synchronization performance of the potentiometer sensor is poor.
