Distributors and combiners for RF isolators
function
The distributor is responsible for signal distribution. On the surface, a signal wanders along path N, with half of the signal power following path A and the other half following path B. The signal is divided into two parts, its shape remains unchanged, but the power decreases. A distributor is also called a power distributor. The reverse process is called a combiner. All power dividers and combiners are passive components.
System application
Wireless systems require the use of two identical transmitters in the same location. Two transmitters require two sets of things, including two power amplifiers, two mixers, two signal sources, etc. If a single oscillator is used, its output is divided into two parts (through a distributor). One signal is sent to one mixer, and the other signal is sent to another mixer. When sending the same signal to different places, use a distributor.
