1. Glass plate method, dual color water level method, manual ruler method
Glass plate method: Glass plates can be installed through connectors or by opening holes on the container wall, and several glass plates can be connected in series to increase the range. The liquid level value is directly read from the glass plate scale.
Dual color water level gauge method: This method utilizes optical principles to display water in green and water vapor in red, thereby indicating the water level.
Manual ruler method: This method is used to measure the liquid level of oil tanks. During measurement, the surveyor inserts the dipstick into the oil and lifts it when the dipstick comes into contact with the bottom of the tank. Read the oil level height based on the oil marks on the dipstick; Determine the height of the water cushion layer based on the color change of the water test paste at the end of the dipstick, in order to determine the oil and water heights.
The above three methods are all manual measurement methods, which have the advantages of simple measurement, high reliability, intuitiveness, and low cost.
2 float method, servo method
Float method: This method uses a float as a liquid level measuring element and drives display devices such as encoding disks or tapes, or connects electronic transmitters for long-distance transmission of measurement signals.
Servo method: This method uses a fluctuation integral circuit to eliminate jitter, extend service life, and improve liquid level measurement accuracy. Modern servo liquid level instruments have high measurement accuracy, reaching an accuracy of less than 1 mm within a range of 40 meters, and generally have the function of measuring density distribution and average density.
